Coaching for Change-makers

Where the Future You Imagine Takes Root.

Climate Protest

Who is a Changemaker?

You’re the one pushing for something better - the teacher, the activist, the volunteer, the executive, the organizer, the humanitarian. You’re the one imagining new possibilities, carrying communities through uncertainty, and holding the line when systems resist change.

You care deeply and act with purpose. Your ideas can reshape programs, shift narratives, and improve lives. But even the most committed changemakers feel the strain - the self-doubt, the fatigue, the pressure to get it right, the loneliness of being the one who keeps everyone else moving.

And yet, you continue showing up with heart.

Because change isn’t something you perform -
it’s something you embody.

If the work feels heavy… if the path feels unclear… if you’ve been carrying more than you can say -
you don’t have to hold it alone.

If this feels like you… let’s talk. Support is closer than you think.

Begin your next chapter of change

You’re a changemaker.

Every day, you push for something better. Your ideas can shift conversations, reshape systems, and improve lives.

But carrying that much responsibility comes at a cost.

You hold space for others, work tirelessly, and keep showing up - even when the pace is relentless and the pressure makes it hard to breathe. Purpose gets buried. Vision becomes weight.

That’s where coaching supports you.

At Sitka Changemakers, we create space for you to think out loud, explore ideas, voice doubts without judgment, and reconnect to your clarity and energy. A space to pause, reset, and return to yourself - so your impact becomes sustainable.

Because changemaking isn’t just about what you do.
It’s about staying whole, grounded, and resilient as you do it.

Imagine what becomes possible when you're supported. Let’s explore it together.

You Are Not Alone

Volunteer Group

When changemakers don’t care for themselves, the world quietly loses its most needed voices - the teachers shaping possibility, the activists advocating for justice, the volunteers holding communities together, the humanitarian workers building peace.

But when you are supported, restored, and rooted?

You don’t just keep going -
you create change that lasts.

Your wellbeing is world-building.
Investing in it changes everything.

The Inner Work That Transforms Outter Impact

Most coaching for changemakers focuses on strategy or action - but creating meaningful, sustainable change requires something deeper. You can’t reshape systems or support others if you’re stuck in the same patterns, beliefs, and pressures that drain your clarity and capacity.

Vertical development coaching helps you expand how you see, think, and make meaning - so you’re not just working harder, but operating from a wider, more conscious perspective. Instead of fixing problems or chasing your “why,” you begin to understand what drives your choices, your reactions, and your impact.

As you grow through new levels of awareness, you start to see complexity more clearly, hold multiple truths without overwhelm, and respond with grounded clarity and compassion. This inner shift is what prevents burnout and strengthens your ability to create change that lasts.

Because you can’t sustainably build a better world without growing the inner world you lead from.

The Opportunist

  • You move from reacting for safety to recognizing patterns, emotions, and relational dynamics.

  •  You shift from self-protection to cooperation - creating more trust and stability around you.

The Achiever

  • You move from drive and performance to reflection and balance.

  • You prevent burnout by aligning results with purpose and wellbeing.

  • You innovate instead of maintain - reshaping outdated systems instead of working around them.

The Diplomat

  • You shift from pleasing others to owning your authentic voice and values.

  • You set healthy boundaries to prevent burnout from over-giving.

  •  You contribute with confidence and skill - offering grounded expertise that strengthens your community or team.

The Re-definer

  • You integrate intuition, emotion, and systems thinking into a grounded inner clarity.

  • Questioning assumptions and embracing paradox with curiosity.

  • Acting from clarity and compassion, even amid uncertainty.

The Expert

  • You learn to hold multiple perspectives and lead through complexity.

  • You create results beyond your technical skills - aligning people, ideas, and systems toward real change.

The Transformer

  • You integrate inner and outer worlds - embodying the change you seek to create.

  • You lead through presence, trust, and emergence.

  • You cultivate systems that regenerate, sustain, and evolve - including yourself.

  • You become a catalyst — someone who shifts culture, not just tasks, and inspires change that lasts.

From one changemaker to another

I’ve always been drawn to change - not the quick or cosmetic kind, but the kind that transforms systems, cultures, and lives. My journey has taken me through education, environmental advocacy, animal welfare, and equity work - always with the same purpose: to build a more inclusive and sustainable world.

For years, I tried to carry that change alone - working harder, striving higher, pushing beyond limits. Eventually, I burnt out. I learned the hard way that meaningful change doesn’t come from doing more; it comes from seeing differently. From knowing when to stand up and advocate - and when to pause, listen, and collaborate.

That’s the heart of vertical development: expanding not what we know, but how we make meaning. It’s what allows changemakers to move from urgency to clarity, from striving to grounded impact.

Today, as a coach for United Nations Volunteers and founder of Sitka Changemakers Coaching, I support those working to transform our systems - helping them grow from the inside out so their impact can last.

Because building a better world begins with becoming the kind of person who can hold it.
